AVIMaster is a command line tool for 32bit Windows to review and manipulate various aspects of AVI files. Key features include: Handling of standard AVI and OpenDML 1.02 AVIs (AVI 2.0) with no size limits; RIFF file parser, partial support for AIFF and RIFX (Apple), full decoding of WAVE (and EBU BWF) as well as AVI file structures; Detailed and highly configurable output; Recreates AVIs with new Indices and fully compliant structure even from damaged or corrupted AVIs or AVIs with missing parts (first 1 - 4 KBytes must be available); No Microsoft DirectShow or WDM/VfW routines are used, the program is based on a proprietary highly tolerant RIFF parser; It is similar (but more feature-rich) to DivFix or the prehistoric RIFFWalk.
